Waiting for baby

So we have just entered the second trimester of our pregnancy and decided we felt safe enough to announce the big news on our blog. Courtney just went to her first official doctors appointment and was able to hear the baby's heartbeat; that was very exciting. We have our first ultrasound next week. We have been slowly accumulating baby supplies: a crib, a bouncer, a stroller, a swing. Now we just need about 1000 diapers and we should be set for awhile. Courtney has been feeling up and down, but she hasn't thrown up in over a week and is pretty excited about that. Maybe all the morning sickness and headaches will just magically disappear. We won't know until the end of October whether we are having a boy or girl, but both of us are predicting a boy. But we shall see. Any good pregnancy or baby advice would be appreciated.

We are two

We celebrated our second anniversary at the end of August, and what an eventful month it has been.

It started off with a trip to Moses Lake to play at the community pool with the Anderson family, and it was pretty cool. There were lots of slides, a little surfing area, a lazy river for floating, and diving boards. We had a great time, except for getting sunburned, and we brought Zach back to Cheney with us so we could drop him at the airport.

The same day that we took Zach (Courtney's younger brother) to the airport, my family flew up to visit us. Courtney could not get off work during the day to hang out with us (myself being unemployed had no problems getting that time off) and we visited some sights in Spokane and Couer'D alene. then my family set on down the road to visit other family members and go to a family reunion.

Next, we got set back up for a trip to Pasco to see Erin's wedding (Courtney's younger sister). It was a great trip, it was fun to see everyone again, and the wedding was a fabulous affair. We made off with tons of soup, bread bowls, otter pops, M&M's and a few other great things for us.

After all that traveling we decided to spend the rest of the month quietly. We went to see the new Harry Potter movie and we spent our anniversary eating at Chilli's, and we had a great old time.

Summer is almost up and I'll be heading back to class and my internship in Spokane, but life has been fun here, who knows where we will be next summer
