So despite our predictions, we are having a little baby girl and we are really excited about that. I guess the old wives tales are all a bunch of hooey. Sorry to all of you who want us to name her Herkamer; Courtney absolutely forbids it, for some strange reason. There was talk of putting up a couple more ultrasound pictures, but most of them were kind of awkward pictures to figure out her gender and I can predict our little girl becoming a horrified teenager seeing those pictures in public view. But we do promise to put up other pictures of the expanding belly soon.
We both like the name Whitney Anne. Unless something strange happens to make us change our mind, that's going to be her name; she will be Annie for short. Courtney's boss gave her some extra clothes and a swing and a bouncer. And we have managed to pick up the big baby things we need along the way without spending our own money. It is amazing what people will do when they know you are poor starving college students. We cannot really fix our spare room in our apartment, so the nursery won't have many colorful decorations. Oh well. We are still just so excited to be having a baby girl. Courtney cannot wait to buy little dresses and cute pink things.

Congratulations! A bouncer will be nice to keep Courtney safe during the pregnancy, and depending on how long he stays, may be a good thing during primary school too. Annie sounds cute! Hurray for you!
We have been waiting for you to make an announcement here. We have some baby girl clothes you can have. Look forward to seeing you soon.
And I am thoroughly disappointed that you have ruled out naming your offspring, Herkamer.
Congrats!
That will be great, and love those cute little feet. There will be hopefully 3 more of her cousins born soon as well. Rob hopes to adopt in Dec. a boy, Chris & Pam due in Feb. Girl, and Autumn in April...a surprise.
