A Wonderful Visit (Part 1)

We had a great visit with Will's parents this last weekend.  They are amazing and so fun with the kids.  We actually met them down in Pendleton at the children's museum.

After eating the picnic lunch I made, the kids got right down to playing.  There was a cool pizza room that had all kinds of pizza goodies.  Grandpa Keeler helps design the perfect pizza.

There was a little toy train with buttons and levers to push.  We all crowded into the train and asked Whitney to take us places.

Here is the music spot with little fun instruments.  Grandpa taught her how to play the triangle.

There was a little kid section for small children.  Rachel spent a lot of time going down the little slide and Megan hung out with grandma - she was content observing all the toys and loud kids around her.

One hit for my two girls was the tea party room.  I informed them we were having a juice party, which confused the other people in the room. Oh well.  Whitney looked really cute in her floppy hat, pouring the juice for everyone.

This was a shadow room.  Rachel didn't quite understand the concept and always moved away from the wall too early, but Whitney really liked making different shadows.

Whitney the construction worker.  She had a cool tool belt and safety goggles.

And in the grocery room.  Anyway, it was a fun museum.  Whitney has already asked if she can go back again.  Thanks for coming to visit us Grandma and Grandpa Keeler.  I will post again in a couple of days with other things we did with Will's parents.
