well, the second quarter officially ended today. I finished with four more classes at Eastern Washington University. I got placed for my practicum, I will work at SCAN, a parent and child support place in Spokane, I'll have to drive or bus in three days a week, but it will be OK. This weekend Courtney and I will drive down to Pasco to spend some time with her family, so we are looking forward to that.
I just finished taking a social work with groups, social work in a diverse society, bio-psycho-social aspects of social work, and an interviewing skills class. I don't have any grades back, but I did well on all my assignments, so I expect high marks. I'm not sure what classes I take next quarter, but I have them both on Mondays.
We've been keeping up on the office, survivor, and the amazing race. we've both filled out march madness brackets, I picked conn to go all the way, but I don't remember who Courtney chose, winner get a movie rental from blockbuster.
I'm working my last day at the copy center on campus, and it was alot of fun to work there, I'm sad to be leaving it, its a good job with good co-workers and a good boss. unfortunately my schedule will simply not allow me to keep working here. Courtney is still working at the daycare and works with babies most of the time, so that is less stressful. My laptop gave us a scare, it now has a colored line that runs right down the middle of the screen, but otherwise it seems alright.
The social work classes are cool, I've learned alot of neat things in them, the practicum will be a good deal of work, but the future looks bright. Our car is working flawlessly, for which we are very grateful. the cold weather has finally subsided here in Cheney, although the snow is not entirely gone, it is supposed to be in the 60s next week.
I hope all is going well all over the rest of the world where my family and friends are planted. I think about all you guys often, and I miss ya. I'm going to try to post a bit more often that every three months, so everyone else can know what's going on with us.
